Hello family, friends, former co-workers, former students, Debbie’s former clients and anyone else who loved my wife. The time has come to celebrate the life of my beloved. My family and I have chosen Sunday November 20th to praise and give glory to God for having blessed us with such a beautiful soul.

The celebration of life will be held at the Rancho Cucamonga Community Center at the corner of Milliken and Base Line Road, located at 11200 Base Line Road, Rancho Cucamonga. The celebration will begin at 11:00 am and will end roughly around 3:00 pm. I know that some of Debbie’s friends and former clients do not have a page, so if you would kindly pass on this information, I would really appreciate it.

As I stated in a much earlier post, this will be a potluck. My wife loved cooking for her friends and family and what better way to honor her then to send her off with a dish made with your love. My suggestion is to bring your dish in a disposable aluminum tray (the kind you can buy at the grocery store), that way you do not have to worry about retrieving your favorite serving tray.

The hall has a kitchen and hopefully it is large enough to accommodate all the food. If there is a space issue, we will place everything on the tables in the hall. Bottled water, soda, iced tea will be provided, as well as all the paper plates, utensils and serving spoons for your dishes.

As you prepare your dish, I ask that you put a pinch of extra love into it knowing that this is what my wife did for the simplest of meals. Debbie loved to cook because it was her way of bestowing her love onto others, but she also loved eating a good homecooked meal made by someone else’s hands.

Many of you have shown interest in helping with this event. Since I now live in the state of Washington, my wonderful daughter-in-law, Kimmie Reyerse has volunteered to be the go-to person to contact. If you know her number, please give her a call and let her know what you would like to do. You can also message her on her page, and she will respond there.

I am also up to handling your texts and calls, so if you would like to talk to me, I am finally able to answer. Attire will be casual/comfortable. We are also making a video collage and if you have a picture of yourself with Debbie and would like for us to add it to the collage, just send it to Kimmie, or myself.

I will update and post about the celebration every week until the day arrives, again, please spread the word. Also, and this is very important, if possible, if you know that you will be attending could you please let Kimmie, or myself know and let us know how many will be attending. I hope to see many of you there so that we can send my wife off on a full belly. I know this is what Debbie would want. Thank you, I love you all.
