Let’s goooooooo!
What an honor today was! I had the pleasure of joining the Jewish community of Riverside in attending the ribbon cutting ceremony for Riverside’s first women’s Mikvah! It was at Chabad’s Jewish Community Center. It was a beautiful ceremony and experience.
A mikvah (also spelled mikveh) is a Jewish ritual bath used for spiritual purification. It is a very important part of Jewish life. It has to be made to specific rabbinical laws and rules and can only use naturally gathered water. JD Bauer Botanicals made the soap.❤️

My son James helped me do some deliveries this morning to Goodwin’s Market in Crestline. He was such a great help. They are all stocked up and looking great!

We were in Normandy, France for the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day Invasion. We went to the cemetery at Omaha Beach. I heard cameras snapping. My youngest son Sam, dressed as a paratrooper, went under the barrier and placed a flag on the grave of a fallen US serviceman.
I burst out crying. It was so poignant.
Memorial Day has always had meaning in my family from the oldest to the youngest. Thank you to those who gave all their tomorrows for our today.
