Lesley's Organic Skin Care
I've been providing skin care and waxing services for the Reno area for over 20 years.
Each treatment is completely customized, using top of the line, organic products based upon each clients history and skin care needs.
Summer skincare should be straightforward. Key elements include consistency, balance and daily SPF for healthy skin, rather than last-minute
efforts before vacations.
Embrace healthier summer skin habits!

Summer skin changes are completely normal. Heat, sweat, dehydration and over-cleansing can all affect how your skin looks and feels this time of year. The key is supporting your skin, not
fighting it.

Summer skincare is really just protecting all the progress your skin made during the colder months.
SPF, sunglasses, hats, hydration, and consistency may not feel as exciting as trending products, but they’re often the things making the biggest long-term difference in your skin.
One thing I always remind clients is that protecting your skin is still part of your skincare routine. Prevention matters just as much as correction.
For my Reno clients, summer skin goals are less about perfection and more about maintaining healthy, supported skin through the season.

After sun exposure, prioritize skin recovery by hydrating internally and using gentle ingredients. Avoid over-exfoliation and support your skin
barrier with nourishing moisturizers,
keeping it cool while using SPF.

Your skin changes with the seasons, and your routine may need to change too. What worked in colder months may not be what your skin needs during heat, humidity and increased sun exposure. Listening to your skin is part of healthy
skincare.
Reach out if you need help adjusting your routine for summer.
Summer activities can dehydrate and irritate your skin due to chlorine, saltwater, heat and excessive exfoliation. Summer skincare should
prioritize hydration, recovery and protection rather than stripping the skin. Your skin needs support throughout the season.

The reason I love this work has very little to do with skincare itself. It’s the texts. The ones that show up months into someone’s journey, when they realize their skin stopped being the thing they think about first every morning.
Clear skin isn’t really about clear skin. It’s about going to brunch without a hat pulled low. It’s about wearing the sundress. It’s about not flinching when someone hugs you in good lighting. Those small moments are the real result, and they happen through consistency, the right routine for your skin specifically, and a little patience while your barrier rebuilds itself.
If you’re in Reno and you’ve been quietly hoping your skin could feel like a non-issue again, that’s exactly the kind of work I do here. Book your appointment when you’re ready

Most premature skin aging doesn’t happen overnight. It’s usually the small habits repeated daily that quietly add up over time.
Skipping SPF, sleeping with friction against the skin, dehydration, stress, and constantly touching your face can all impact your skin barrier and collagen long term.
If you’re in Reno and want support building a long-term skin health routine, book your consultation today.
