By 6PM, you’re done before your day is. I fix the 6PM Collapse™️. So you have your energy back. Your life. Your choice.
Your body often knows you’re outgrowing your current identity long before your mind can explain it.
That’s the moment I’m interested in.
Because that’s where real change becomes possible.
Comment EXPAND and I’ll send you the page that explains The Friction Point Method.

Most people start with the story.
I start with the signal.
Because once you learn to notice what your body is doing before your mind explains it away, patterns become much easier to change.
If you’re curious about that process, comment EXPAND and I’ll send you the details.

You’ve probably already done a lot of work on yourself.
Therapy. Coaching. Books. Podcasts.
But knowing your patterns and catching them while they’re happening are two very different skills.
That’s the difference I teach.
If you’re ready to understand the mechanism behind it, comment EXPAND and I’ll send you the details.

You can think your way through a lot of things.
Identity isn’t one of them.
You’ve done the work. The coaching. The breathwork. The mindset shifts. You can name every pattern you run. You understand why they exist. You’ve mapped the origin story.
And they still fire.
Because the pattern doesn’t live in your thoughts. It lives in the moment your body braces — the exact point where your old identity contracts against the one that’s trying to emerge.
That contraction isn’t a flaw. It isn’t something to push through. It’s the most precise signal you have for where your next identity is trying to grow.
And once you can read it — once you can catch it while it’s firing instead of hours later — you stop managing the drain and start designing the expansion.
Not through willpower. Through architecture.
Comment EXPAND and I’ll send you the link to explore The Friction Point Method, my system to re-design your next level identity without journaling, hours of somatic exercises or overhauling your schedule.
Xoxo,
Dr. Kat
You’ve been watching other people score. Remote in hand.
The moment you think about stepping onto the field — something in you contracts.
That’s not fear. That’s not imposter syndrome.
That’s your body detecting the exact place where your old identity is bracing against your new one.
I call it the friction point.
And once you can see it, you can redesign around it.
The Friction Point Method is my 3-month 1:1 container where we:
→ Recognize the somatic contraction the moment it fires
→ Identify the specific pattern underneath it
→ Redesign the behavior so the new identity emerges naturally
Without months of therapy analyzing why.
Without overhauling your entire life.
Without another protocol, morning routine, or mindset hack.
Without willpower.
Just precision. Design thinking applied to identity evolution through biology.
Three founding spots.

“When can I go home?” 😳
Not because they’re impatient.
Because uncertainty is exhausting. 🥵
The human brain wants to predict.
It wants a timeline.
It wants to know what’s coming next.
And when it can’t?
It starts filling in the blanks. 📝
Trying to create certainty where none exists.
That costs energy.
A lot of it.⚡️
One of the unexpected benefits of learning to work with your nervous system is that uncertainty becomes easier to tolerate.
Not because you suddenly enjoy it.
But because your body learns that uncertainty and danger aren’t always the same thing.
If you’d like to learn some of the micro-somatic tools I use to help interrupt that cycle in real time, comment ‘6PM’ and I’ll send you the training.

1️⃣ Being tired wasn’t my problem.
I was spending energy in places I didn’t realize.
2️⃣ My job wasn’t the only thing exhausting me.
Anticipation.
Overthinking.
Replaying conversations.
Living in tomorrow before today was over.
3️⃣ More self-care wasn’t the answer.
I needed tools I could use inside real life, not after it.
4️⃣ The goal wasn’t having more energy.
The goal was having enough left for the things that mattered.
5️⃣ The biggest surprise?
As my energy returned, so did my ability to see possibilities.
Trips I thought I couldn’t take.
Projects I thought I didn’t have time for.
Experiences I thought were out of reach.
The door had been open much longer than I realized.
I just didn’t have enough of myself available to see it.
Which lesson resonates most with you?

You keep having the same reaction.
Different colleague. Different conversation. Different opportunity.
Same pattern firing.
You get home. You sit down. And suddenly — even deciding what to eat feels like too much.
A message comes in from someone you actually want to talk to.
You ignore it.
Not because you don’t care.
Because you don’t have access to yourself anymore.
That’s not exhaustion. That’s not weakness. That’s a somatic pattern that’s been running all day — in moments too small to call stress, too frequent to ignore — until by 6PM there’s nothing left to meet your own life with.
The 6PM Collapse™ is just the most visible moment where the pattern shows up.
Underneath it is something more specific. More trainable. And more interesting than anything a better morning routine will fix.
I teach high-performing professionals to decode that pattern — and interrupt it in real time.
Not through more willpower. Not through another protocol.
Through the body’s own signals, read as data.
That’s Biological Leadership™.

I grew up in East Berlin.
The wall came down when I was eleven. Overnight, everything I thought was fixed — the rules, the roles, the ceiling on what was possible — dissolved.
That was my first lesson in identity expansion.
I chose medicine. No doctors in my family. Only sensible careers. There were warnings. I did it anyway.
I emigrated. Started residency. Had a baby. My marriage collapsed.
What people saw: a physician. A high achiever.
What they didn’t see: sleeping pills. Isolation. The kind of quiet dissolution that happens when you keep performing while something underneath is breaking.
I almost disappeared. Not dramatically. Functionally.
Recovery changed everything — not because I was strong, but because someone helped me interrupt the pattern before it finished running.
That’s when I understood something medicine hadn’t taught me:
You cannot think your way out of a somatic pattern. You cannot willpower your way into expansion.
The body has to be part of the conversation.
Twenty years of clinical medicine. Executive training at Stanford. Fifteen years of recovery-informed pattern work.
That’s what Biological Leadership™ is built from.
Not theory. Not trend. Lived architecture.
If you’re reading this and something in you recognizes what I’m describing — you’re in the right place.

Recently, I wanted to take a much desired trip.
But every time I thought about it, the same thought appeared:
“I can’t.”
My work schedule wouldn’t allow it.
There was no way.
I felt completely trapped. 😵
What I didn’t realize at the time was that I had become someone who felt trapped long before I actually was.
My brain had been occupied by stress, tension, and constant activation for so long that it couldn’t see beyond the next obligation. 😵💫
It couldn’t imagine another possibility.
The funny thing?
I did end up getting the time to take the trip.
More on that another time. 😉
But the biggest lesson wasn’t about travel.
It was this:
The door had been open the entire time.
I just couldn’t see it.
Not because I wasn’t smart enough.
Not because I lacked options.
Because my brain had been so overloaded by stress that I couldn’t see what was obvious.
It’s amazing how small your world can become when all of your energy is going toward surviving it.
Sometimes the first step toward freedom isn’t changing your circumstances.
It’s reclaiming enough of yourself to finally see what’s possible. 💪
