I was comfortable with being comfortable for a lot of years. In a career that I was good at, it was stable, and I made a living. Everything you need I suppose. There was just that one thing I wanted, and it wasn't there, passion. After 10 years, I knew I needed a change. The main obstacle was really figuring out what I would have a passion for. After several months, and a couple attempts at other careers, my little💡went off! Duuuuh Shelby, you have an entire room dedicated to your skin care and makeup! I enrolled as quickly as I could. I worked my butt off day and night, and it was exciting! Something I finally cared about, it doesn't feel like a chore, plus I have always enjoyed making others feel confident; what better way to do so!?
It's never too late for a new start.
I know my journey as an Esthetician is just beginning, but I am so excited to see where it takes me and all the things I will learn along the way.
