Hi! I’m Katie Mae!

I’m am a certified, professional makeup artist, having graduated from Taylor Andrews Academy in West Jordan, Utah in 2018 and have been working in the industry ever since. I have been published in Rocky Mountain Bride, Top Posters Magazine and Moevir Magazine Poses in Paris, France. I have been married to my forever best friend, Matthew since 2016 and we have two beautiful children.

Makeup is more than just a job to me, it is art and life to me. As one of my favorite beauty icons, Bobbi Brown said “I believe all women are beautiful without makeup - but with the right makeup, can be pretty powerful.” That is my goal in working with you!

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had a fascination with art and beauty. The moment I picked up a brush and started my beauty journey, I haven’t put it down since. The joy of makeup is more than enhancing the beauty that is already there; but it is the happiness it brings to all who use it. My favorite part of being a makeup artist is seeing the joy in my clients eyes when they look at themselves for the first time. Makeup has become more than something fun to do but it has become a passion of mine.

1) Well the first is obvious. I’m a professional makeup artist out of Rexburg, Idaho. I’ve been in the industry for five years! 💄2022
2) I’m a stay at home mom when I’m not working with my beautiful clients.
3) I’m an avid bookworm who’s on their way to owning a library! 📚
4) I am completely obsessed with Halloween like it’s no joke🎃
5) I’m a classically trained singer who was invited with my choir to sing on Ellis Island in New York. We also sang at Carnegie Hall!
6) I love to bake and cook!
7) I have been published in multiple magazines!
8) I was the makeup artist of Mrs. Idaho America 2022 and Miss Idaho For America Strong 2022.
9) I am completely obsessed with Harry Potter and The Hobbit/ The Lord of the Rings. I lost count of how many times I’ve read the books or watch the movies.
10) I love theater and starred as Chava in fiddler on the roof and Isabel in Scrooge!
