If I could go back in time and help my kids with their skincare journey all over again, I would make sure to devote plenty of time to their mindset work.

Because it’s just as important as what you eat, how much rest you get, and the skincare products you choose.

One of my favorite ways to help foster a healthy mindset, and keep that harsh inner critic in check, is practicing daily affirmations.

Our brain can’t distinguish between reality and what we tell ourselves.

So why not use this to our advantage? 👇

Here’s why only focusing on skincare and skin treatments won’t clear your skin… 👇

Acne is a SYMPTOM. And clearing your skin requires listening to your body and figuring out what’s causing your breakouts to begin with.

Skincare and skin treatments only work skin deep.

And for 99% of the people I work with, there are other issues going on within the body.

Not to mention, one imbalance in the body leads to another.

𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝.

Here’s what I mean:
If you’re someone who struggles to get 7-8 hours of sleep a night, it’s likely your body isn’t getting enough time to detox the liver, drain your lymphatic system, and regulate your blood sugar.

When your liver gets back up, toxins accumulate in the body, which causes inflammation, hormone imbalances and leaky gut.

And when you’re not well rested, it’s also more likely you’ll reach for those quick meals, which can be low in nutritional value and high in sugar and simple carbs. Junk food causes a microbial imbalance in the gut and blood sugar spikes. Blood sugar dysregulation further causes hormone imbalances.

IT’S. ALL. CONNECTED.

So in order to clear your skin for good, you’re going to need to address imbalances in your body.

The good news? It’s all very, very possible.

Dairy doesn’t work for everyone, but if your body can tolerate it, it can be an incredible source of nutrients and protein!

The key here - does it trigger something deeper? Dairy is considered a top 5 inflammatory food for many people due to gut dysbiosis. 🥹🥹
