2.5yrs ago, Jade had surgery on her right leg due to a tendon snapping. Bringing her back home, she was distraught and drugged up. She did not eat for days, or go to the bathroom. She would cry all day because of the pain. This is one of the hardest things I had to go through watching my dog suffer...
As of Friday, Jade had to get surgery again, however on her left leg. We knew her cruciate ligame
nt had snapped, but didn't know the cartilage separating her bones from rubbing, turned to mush.. Unfortunately it had to be removed. I had been crying for days before the surgery, knowing what Jade and I would have to go through again...So when I went to the vet Saturday morning to pick her up, to my surprise, she was happy, stable and couldn't WAIT to get outta there! She came home, ate a full meal, took her supplements, went to the bathroom, and hobbled her way outside to sunbathe. Jade has been consistent with this, and her healing progress has been outstanding.. I couldn't figure out what the difference was since last time? Taking into consideration that she's now 12yrs old, and this surgery was more extensive, I wasn't able to figure it out... I realized the differences from this time and last, was the high-quality supplements I started giving her a year ago. This has made the world of a difference in both our lives.
