As most of you know, I SOLD my salon, Tamed Roots. ❤️
This has been such a mix of emotions. Owning and running Tamed Roots has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life. It wasn’t just a salon—it was a dream that grew into a space filled with friendships, laughter, memories, and so much support from this incredible community.
I truly LOVED owning and running a big salon, but this girl is tired. After 2.5 years of pouring my heart into building something special, I’m ready to slow down a little and focus more on myself, my family, and of course, my amazing clients.
Tamed Roots will ALWAYS be a part of me, and saying goodbye to this chapter has been harder than I expected. There’s definitely some sadness, but there’s also so much excitement for what’s next. I’m starting a new adventure, one that feels a little more aligned with where I am in life right now.
I’m still doing hair, and I’m still running a salon just a much smaller one. A cozy little 2–3 person space where I can continue doing what I love while creating more balance for myself and my family.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting Tamed Roots, supporting me, and trusting me through all of these years. Every appointment, referral, kind word, and friendship has meant more than you know. I’m so excited to take you all along on this next chapter. 🤍 And I’d like to introduce the new space as Wild Strands🪴
Whenever a bride asks what she should do with her hair, I almost always recommend an updo, especially in Idaho and Wyoming where the weather has a mind of its own 😂
As much as I love a gorgeous down style, an updo is always the moment. It holds better, photographs beautifully all day, and survives wind, rain, and everything in between 🤍
