TIP OF THE DAY: Need to have party hair this month? How many times have you curled your hair just to have it fall before you get to the party. Make sure that you use a good styling product like a gel and it is a good idea to use a couple of them. When we style hair for a lasting style we use two to three types of gel and or mouse. the different types can add a much better foundation to hold the style for a longer period of time. Then add the Hairspray when the style is finished. Good luck and Happy Holidays!

TIP OF THE DAY: Have you had your holiday haircut yet? Getting a nice trim or a new style will not only help you look great, but also allow your hair to preform well for you while styling. In December we are busy, so give us a call as soon as possible so we can accommodate your schedule as well.

TIP OF THE DAY: Want your hair style to stay all day? That is the job of the styling products you use on your hair. Wet products (gels and mouses) are what give the hair the memory of the style. Hairspray is designed to keep the style in place and in some hairsprays, will help to fight that humidity in the air. Many of our Redken hairsprays and the Keratin Complex line will fight humidity. Even if you do not like hairspray there are many with a very light hold that can help with the fight against humidity.

TIP OF THE DAY: Did you know that not all Hairspray are created equal. Some hairspray on the market can cause damage and breakage in the hair. Be careful of the type you buy. We carry Redken, Morraccan Oil, and Keratin Hairsprays.

TIP OF THE DAY: Daily wear and tear of shampoing, blowdrying, and flat irons will break the strength of the hair down. To help repair and replunish hair strength, use a hair treatment made to repair damaged hair weekly. Try Redken's Extreme treatment. Use weekly and see what a difference it will have on your hair.

TIP OF THE DAY: Many people feel they don't need or can't use Conditioner on their hair. The purpose of Conditioner is to close the hair shaft down to seal out the humidity and elements in the air. People with fine hair are usually the ones that think they do not need conditioner. If you are one of those people, try using just a pea size drop of conditioner on short hair and rinse very well. Also using a very light conditioner is very important for those that have fine hair. Try Redken's Extream Conditioner or Redken's Body Full Conditioner.

TIP OF THE DAY: When hair is wet always use a comb to get tangles out. Do not use a brush, unless you use a brush called a wet brush. They are new on the market. Remember that is the only brush to use on wet hair. Hair is more fragile when wet. So be nice to your hair.

TIP OF THE DAY: When shampooing your hair keep the water on the cool side. This will help keep your color from fading and keep the hair more shiny.
