About 48 years ago, our founder had an idea and she opened the first location in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The name was The Caris Company.
It provided make-up and hair care products to the community. She soon learned that ethnic products had a place at local pharmacies and other neighborhood retailers. She soon expanded the company to service stylists. Catapulted by the desire for the curl, it was a springboard for the company. Years later, Caris was rebranded and transitioned in the Atlanta Market.
This summer, we closed our final two stores. We have appreciated the opportunity to serve you and wish you well in your endeavors.

After 47 years, a lot of clients, both retail and professional, Caris Salon Services will cease operations and close. We want to take this time to thank all of our customers and people who stopped by to shop or attend a class. Your support over the years has helped many employees of Caris raise children, support their families and in return support their customers with great products, timely product knowledge and connections to other like minded persons. We have attended Bronner Brother shows as exhibitor and introduced a variety of lines to the community.
