Frank’s Chop Shop Rochester is proud to present STEUPS, a new body of work by Marcus Troy.
Join us on Friday, December 5th from 4pm–9pm for an evening with the artist and an intimate viewing of his latest series.

Marcus Troy (b. Montreal, Canada) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, mixed media, and cultural storytelling. Drawing from his Caribbean heritage, global travels, and background in fashion and design, Troy constructs vivid visual narratives that explore identity, memory, resilience, and the interconnectedness of communities across the diaspora.

His work has been exhibited in institutions and galleries including the Brooklyn Museum, 154 ART FAIR , If These Walls Could Talk Gallery, and international art fairs. Troy is known for his innovative use of recycled paint fragments and his ability to merge personal history with broader cultural conversations.

STEUPS marks the continuation of Troy’s evolving exploration of contemporary diasporic expression — bold, layered, and deeply rooted in lived experience.
