Brie & Figs are one of my favorite duos…Oh my goodness this will be on Repeat 🔁 all Summer…Use the best chips Ever. Topped with Brie, fresh grated Parmesan, chunks of Blue cheese-broil for 5 mins until melted and bubbly. Pull out and Top Prosciutto and Pepperoncini. Next sprinkle with fresh torn Parsley & Basil. Add a drizzle with Hot Honey & Balsamic Glaze. Lastly drop dollops Fig Onion Jam. Enjoy

Hey there SPRING, what’s up? just trying to recreate the Feelin of New Orleans 🥳 snow flurries & laundry made the perfect day for simmering a delicious pot of red beans & rice, blackened chicken w/ a side of hot honey jalapeño cornbread. I am seriously considering starting a SUPPER CLUB to host family & friends. Whatcha think 🤔 delicious Deets: pick, and cover with water your dry beans Soak overnight. Add 2 smoked ham hocks and neckbones to a pot filled with water. Boil to create a stock for approx 3hours until liquid is reduced and meat is tender. Chopped and sauté andouille sausage. Remove from pan, add the Holy Trinity-chopped onion, bell peppers, celery, sweat, until tender, making sure to incorporate all of the frond on the bottom of the pan. Add chopped garlic. Remove smoked meat from the stock, add the drained beans. Season with Creole spices, garlic powder, onion powder, bay leaves, smoked paprika, and white pepper. Add the vegetables and the meat back to the pot. If you want creamy beans - the trick is to cook them low and slow approximately 2 to 3 hours stirring every 15 minutes or so until fork tender. Smash about 1/3 of the pot of beans with a Large Spoon. Serve with white rice and hot honey jalapeño cornbread.

I couldn’t think of any better way to start of February . Today, I was deeply honored and truly humbled to be asked to officiate my client’s intimate micro wedding .
Moments like this remind me that what I DO for my career, goes far beyond creating gorgeous hair. It’s about trust, connection, and the relationships that are built over time…sometimes partaking in some of life’s most sacred milestones.
To stand beside someone I’ve laughed with, listened to, and supported, and then be invited into such a meaningful moment of LOVE…that is a privilege I don’t take lightly. Grateful to GOD to be used by Him 🙏🏾There’s nothing that makes Me feel whole more than to use the gifts that He has given me to serve others.
