New headshot, who dis? I’ve been growing out my natural hair for 3 years. I have one little highlight left in the front, besides my silver natural highlights 😎. I went from one end of the spectrum (bleach and tome with colors every 6 weeks) to basically none at all. Ha. I think I’m an “all or nothing” kind of gal. But for now, brunette is kind of fun and different for me and I don’t hate it. I actually don’t really think about it at all, really. As low maintenance as it comes. And turns out a neutral color goes with all clothing and accessories. 😬 Anyways, enough about me, how about we talk about embracing and enhancing your natural? 😘

Back to work! So many people have checked in on me lately and just wanted to give an update. I’m doing alright! I’ve had to shift my mindset a little. Naturally, I want to be pain free right this second. But recognizing that it’s a journey full of ups and downs. I’m thankful for a supportive team of people surrounding me at work and wonderful clients that see me more than just someone that does their hair. I’m working on finding balance in the season of life and trying to figure out what that looks like. Right now that means, no more double booking, and a little shorter hours. So, thanks for sticking by me. I hope to be doing your hair and chit chatting with you all for years to come ❤️

In case you missed it, I’m on a one month medical leave to help heal my shoulder. It was a hard decision to make but also, not really, considering I was in constant pain. What a relief to finally relax. Hoping this time gives me a chance to rest as well as implement thoughtful routines into my days/weeks to become a healthier human being.

Every 5 weeks my client comes to visit me. Same time same place through the whole year. Love the dedication and loyalty. We have great conversations and I love cutting her have. That’s what it’s all about. Truly love this career. 😊
