WOW! I never thought I would be writing this, this soon. I will be having another back surgery that is more invasive then my first one 3 years ago. My surgery is scheduled for Monday, May 16th. It will be a minimum of 3 months recovery. Unfortunately I need to "retire" from my dream. I will be closing my door to Studio 14 on Saturday, May 14th. This was a VERY difficult decision as you, my clients are why I do what I do. At this time I need to take care of me and do what's best for my body. It has been a true pleasure and a great honor to have you in my chair. Doing your hair was my job, making memories and creating friendships was my passion. Nearly 24 years behind the chair was not enough and nearly 8 years at Sola Salon Studios was ended way too soon. I wish you all the best and I will miss each and every one of you! I am opening my schedule next week. We decided to skip going to the lake for vacation and focus on moving into our new house in the country. I have openings Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Message, call or text me what you need done and I'll be happy to schedule you.

Yesterday I did a color correction. It would have liked it to be lighter, however with a correction I can't guarantee the final result. It turned out amazing! Happy me, happy client!

It was 1 year ago today I was on a temporary shut down that turned into a much longer time. We all are struggling through this pandemic in on way or another. I wake up each and every day thankful for what I have which is a roof over my head, food on my table, fur kids to care for, a loving family, a wonderful husband, friends and a beautiful place to work. I have amazing clients that have returned when I reopened and I'm so grateful for them to keep my small business going. I love you all for the support you've given me through this and I appreciate you!
