I’m so excited to officially share that I’ve joined as a Services District Educator!

If you told me a year ago (or even 2 months ago 😜) that I’d be back at Ulta, I probably would’ve smiled + said, “There’s no way.” Yet here I am, finishing up my first day + realizing how beautifully life can come full circle, when you simply trust.

Closing the ASH + IVORY chapter was bitter-sweet. That space held so much of who I was: my creativity, my heart, + my dream of building something meaningful for both guests and stylists. It was my baby. Letting it go wasn’t easy, but I’ve learned that every ending makes room for something even more aligned.

In this new role, I get to take everything I’ve learned- every challenge, every success, every lesson + pour it into others. As a Services District Educator, I’ll be mentoring, supporting, + empowering stylists + their leadership across our district to grow behind the chair + beyond it.

Don’t worry, I’m still behind the chair + accepting new guests at the brand new Ulta Beauty in Pittsford! You’ll also be seeing the Hair Stylist Social make its comeback soon because creating community + connection for stylists will always be at the heart of what I do.

Here’s to new beginnings + the courage to follow where you’re being called, even when it surprises you. I’m forever grateful!

When I approach a project like this, I like to keep it super simple: I break the whole head into two categories—what needs to be lighter + what needs to be darker or neutralized.

For this transformation, I focused on:
1️⃣ Lightening key areas to brighten the overall look. Certain areas needed to be lightened *differently* but still need to be lighter

2️⃣ Neutralizing or adding depth where it was needed for balance.

That’s it! Keeping it straightforward helps me stay focused + deliver seamless results without overthinking.

Color corrections don’t have to be overwhelming— take it one area at a time + focus on the big picture.
