non-perishable and select perishable food items to distribute to local food cupboards/Hope Houses in the Rochester and surrounding areas! Bring in any food donation and receive a FREE aromatherapy to use during your session or to bring home! Please note, while we will gladly accept any perishable items listed below, we are limited on space and we absolutely CANNOT ACCEPT FROZEN FOOD ITEMS, EXPIRED, OPEN, DAMAGED ITEMS, OR HOMEMADE ITEMS. Breakfast items (pancake mix, syrup, granola bars, protein bars, shelf stable non-dairy milks, etc)
Long lasting vegetables (squash, potatoes, onions, etc)
Long lasting fresh fruit (melons, apples, oranges, etc)
Canned meat (chicken, tuna, etc)
Oils, flour, sugar
Broth (vegetable and beef)
Canned tomatoes, sauce, canned fruit
Snacks (regular and gluten free)

Acceptable Perishable items during winter months:
Packaged meat (chicken, beef, sausage, bacon, etc)
Milk (regular and non dairy)
Eggs
Butter

Freshly purchased fresh fruits and vegetables

Good morning,
I usually shy away from posting personal things to my professional page but I felt compelled to share, if case anyone was interested in helping out. Please consider donating, and sharing this fundraiser wherever you can.

Yesterday, one of my dearest friends took her two young boys and left an ab*sive situation, with just the clothes on their backs. While she is working directly with Willow to retrieve her car and belongings, it needs to be done through court and that can take months, and who knows the condition it will be in once it is returned to her.
Over the years, this friend has put so many people before herself, from making regular care packages for the homeless to giving free haircuts to those in need. She has given her time working with the VOA and YWCA.
Please consider donating to help her get back on her feet, provide clothing and food for her boys, and to get them a safe place to live.
