I guess it has been a while since we last posted an updated, we've just been that busy.

Today, we have completed 11 years in business and begin our 12th year. I'd like to thank all of our wonderful clients over the years - you are why we are here to do this today.

This next year should be some exciting changes for us as we continue to grow. Thank you all for supporting us.

Ten years ago today, we opened our doors for the first time, with a goal to help people change their lives. During that time, not only have we helped almost 1500 people, but we got to become part of their journey. Over the years, you have graciously shared your lives with us, and you have become a part of our life too.

I am personally grateful for the many friends I have made, the sense of fulfillment I have gotten, and the simple fact that, all of you have contributed to making my business, and, more importantly, my life, successful. A year before we opened, I lost my father after being his primary caregiver for the previous 15 years. I was financially broke and emotionally lost, but here we am today.

I know that our business, and all of you, have also made a difference in the life of our staff. So many of you have been there for us as we have gone through our own struggles, and I would personally and publicly like to express my gratitude to them as well. They aren't just my employees, they are some of my closest friends. Every day, I get the enjoyment of knowing that we get to go spend time together, while we also get to help you. I would like to think that their lives are better too.

Today is as much a celebration of our clients and staff, as it is an important milestone for our business.

Emancipated Electrolysis LLC is growing and looking for an additional electrologist or two.

An electrologist permanently removes hair by delivering electrical current to the client's hair follicle for both medical needs and esthetic reasons in a one on one setting. No experience is necessary. Training will be provided, including theory and practice.

As we grow we are also looking to expand our services to include esthetic services, including facial and body services, makeup services and tutorials, as well as cosmetology services including hair and nails. While we don't currently offer these services, being licensed in one of them already can be beneficial, but isn't required.

Candidate is expected to service a wide range of clients from virtually every background, race, ethnicity, and gender, including all areas of the body. A significant portion of our clients are transgender, potentially presenting at any point in their journey.

Responsibilities include directly providing services, consulting prospective clients, general office duties including scheduling and keeping their personal treatment room cleaned.

A prospective candidate needs good hand-eye coordination, time management skills, customer service and communication skills, and compassion for people of all backgrounds. Professional appearance and demeanor required.

Pay is commission based as a direct employee, typically ranging between $25-37.50 per hour, with a potential to earn up to $50,000 per year. Scheduling is flexible but afternoons and evenings are in high demand and generally required. Benefits provided after a probationary period. All tools and supplies provided.
