Yesterday was a great first day back. I’m not going to lie and say the new protocols are a piece of cake but doing what i love makes it worth is.. Love making people smile! Here is my after work of yesterday’s blonde bombshell! Of course i forgot to take a before 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Today marks my first day back to the salon since March 18 th, it’s been 11 weeks since i have been behind the chair. I can’t not wait to start making people feel beautiful again! Although it will be under some totally different circumstances and different procedures. I’m so excited to be back doing what i love ❤️

As you’ve heard we can open up the salon. June 1 will be our first day of work. We currently have a set schedule to keep our capacity at the 50% that the governor had mandated. I have picked up a couple extra days to help get everyone in as quick as possible. My temperature will be taken before I start my shift and will have to wear a mask and full face shield. As soon as you enter the salon your temperature will be taken and There will be a form you will need out. Everyone must enter with a mask on, If you do not come in with a mask we will provide one for you. Please understand that if you refuse to have your temperature taken, full out the mandatory form or to wear a mask you will be asked to reschedule or cancel your appointment. After your temperature is taken you will be asked to use hand sanitizer that’s is at the front desk. For at least the month of June we can not double book our clients, so please bare with me as i fill in my book (as many of you know i double book all of my colors so while you process i have another color started). I will need enough time to clean and sanitize my tools and station. Please wait outside and text me or call me when you arrive to the salon for your scheduled appointment. Salon door will be locked to help keep the rules and regulations we were given. Try to be patient with all this new protocol!!

Ok everyone it is looking like we have the go ahead to open as phase 2 🎉🎊.. now with that being said we have a lot to do as a salon to prepare for opening. I will be in touch with everyone to get appointments rebooked. Please remember that there are very in-depth guidelines we as a salon need to follow so we are working out the kinks. Please be patient with us ❤️

Gov. Cuomo: Rochester and Finger Lakes region advances to phase two of reopening Regions across the state seek guidance on phase two reopening status.

Still no news on when we will reopen.. we are supposed to be phase 2 but have not been given an opening date for phase 2... we are just as much in the dark as the rest of you 😕 but we are getting closer and hopefully we hear very soon! I will be getting in touch with everyone as soon as I’m given an official date! But until then here is a little humor 🤪

Hi! It looks like Salons are in phase 2 so if all goes well with phase 1 we will be able to open in 2 weeks! We have to practice very specific protocol and are only allowed 5 stylists at a time so we are in the process of writing a schedule. Once the schedule is released i will be able to rebook your appointment. Currently for the time being i am asking for Cash, PayPal, Venmo, Cash app or check. If you can't pay with those we can discuss credit card options but we can get to that once we are able to rebook you! Now we don’t have a set date.. but this is light and the end of the tunnel.. fingers crossed for a smooth transition and we can get back to the salon.

To my clients, i am so grateful for you all. This is a very hard time for us all and i know the typical pick me up is a fresh color or cut. I’m grateful to those who are waiting for me, i am grateful for those who will be returning to me after this is over, and grateful for those you have called and checked in.

You guys are the reason i love my job! I can’t not wait to get back to it ❤️

Although we don’t have a set date we look like we might have a phase.. something to look forward to. We do not know 100% what the new regulations will be just yet for when we do reopen, when i have that info i will be sure to inform everyone...
