It’s true that microblading will last about one to three years. But this can vary based on skin type, the type of pigment used and how deeply the pigment is inserted into the skin. In the period right after the treatment, the brows are significantly darker than the expected result. This is because the pigments need a little while – about two weeks – to settle into the skin. They will gradually fade into the desired shade. But some clients aren’t willing to wait and choose to speed up the microblading fading process instead. Eyebrows will fade 30-40% when healing.
