A fresh bowl and a good plan 🤍
One of the biggest things that helps highlights look their best… is timing.
When appointments get stretched too far, there’s usually more to work through — which can mean longer appointments and sometimes more stress on the hair.
Typically:
• Traditional highlights to the root → every 6–8 weeks
• Soft, rooty highlights → every 8–12 weeks
• Balayage / foilayage → every 12–16 weeks (sometimes longer with a toner in between)
Staying on a consistent rhythm usually means softer grow-out, healthier hair, and highlights that look prettier in between visits.
A lot of good hair happens behind the scenes… and timing is a big part of it. ✨

👉 DON’T skip your maintenance appointments!
If you ever feel like every visit turns into a full root touch up, highlight, haircut session again, it’s probably because the timing between appointments went a little too long.
Staying consistent with your maintenance appointments makes all the difference!
I know it can be a little tricky to know when to book that appointment.
So here’s a quick guide to help you out:
🤎 Root Touch-Ups (Every 4-6 Weeks)
✨ Highlights (Every 10-12 Weeks)
🖌️ Balayage (Every 3-5 Months)
🍂 All Over Color or Toner (Every 6-8 Weeks)
Everyone’s hair grows and fades differently, so don’t stress if your timing isn’t exact.
If you’re unsure, send me a quick message and I can help you figure out when to book your next visit 📲
Can’t wait to see you in my chair 🫶

How to tell it’s time for a haircut 👇
If you’re wondering, “Do I need a cut?”… chances are, you probably do 😅
But here’s the real question: do you need a trim or a full haircut?
Because yep — they’re not the same thing (even though people mix them up all the time)!
To keep it simple:
✂️ Trim: Keeps your current cut. We just clean up the ends, remove splits, and maintain healthy hair.
💇♀️ Haircut: Changes your style. We reshape, add layers, or take off length.
Both are important — it just depends on what your hair needs right now.
Not sure which one’s right for you? Drop a ✂️ and let’s chat about it!

Gray coverage vs. Grey blending
Which Is Right for You?
Going gray doesn’t have to mean just one path—you’ve got options!
Let’s break down gray blending and gray coverage so you can find the look that fits your style, lifestyle, and maintenance level.
✨ Gray Blending
A soft, subtle approach that lets your natural grays mingle beautifully with your colored hair. Perfect if you want a graceful, low-maintenance transition with added depth, dimension, and a cohesive tone—embracing your grays while keeping a polished finish.
🎨 Gray Coverage
A bold, all-in method that completely conceals gray strands for a consistent, uniform color. Ideal if you prefer a fresh, solid shade and want the freedom to explore a range of tones and colors.
The choice is yours! Whether you’re blending or covering, it all comes down to your personal preference and how much upkeep you’re comfortable with.
