Sometimes life gets so busy that you forget to slow down and just be together.
This weekend, my husband and I did exactly that.
We unplugged from work, put the phones down, laughed, talked, and simply enjoyed each other’s company. With our opposite work schedules, those moments are rare, and they reminded us how important it is to reconnect and recharge.
Marriage isn’t about being perfect-it’s about continuing to choose each other through every season of life. I’m so grateful for this man and for the time we had together. Here’s to making memories, protecting your peace, and never forgetting to invest in the people you love most.
