I had a facial and massage today, and it reminded me why I care so much about the details.
The massage was lovely. Relaxing, intentional, and exactly what my body needed.
The facial was a different kind of reminder. It made me reflect on something I think about often in my own treatment room: a facial is so much more than products on the skin. It’s the way you’re welcomed in, the flow of the treatment, the little details, the touch, the comfort, and the feeling you carry with you when you leave.
I’ll be honest, I haven’t always had the facial experiences I hoped for when I’ve been on the table. And sometimes it makes me smile because I think, “I kind of envy my own clients.”
Not because I’m perfect, but because I care so deeply about the full experience. I want every facial to feel slow, thoughtful, nurturing, and personal.
Because skin care should never feel rushed.
And every client deserves to feel genuinely looked after.
