Rocky Mount, NC — Takin’ It Down Beauty Lounge, the city’s first dedicated luxury protective style removal salon, is redefining hair care in Rocky Mount with specialized services focused on healthy hair transitions, convenience, education, and a premium client experience.
Located in the Belmont Village Shopping Center, Takin’ It Down Beauty Lounge offers professional take-down services for braids, wigs, weaves, and more, along with styling options designed to restore and maintain healthy hair.
The salon also offers professional wig restoration services, including deep cleaning and conditioning, styling, coloring, precision cutting, and adding hair for enhanced fullness and a refreshed, natural look.
In addition to salon services, Takin’ It Down Beauty Lounge continues to expand its educational outreach within the beauty industry. On June 8 from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, the salon will host a 4-CEU educational course covering aspects of Senate Bill 808, sanitation and infection control, with a special focus on mental health in the beauty industry. Light refreshments will be provided.
The pre-certification course for aspiring licensed natural hair stylists is open to all beauty professionals seeking to expand their knowledge, skills, and career opportunities within the natural hair and beauty industry.
