A message from our beloved Esthetician:
Reopening Update
Hello! I miss you all so much and hope you are doing well. Many of you have been scheduling online and inquiring about my reopening. Although the Governor has allowed salons to reopen on May 15th I cannot do so responsibly at this time due to the very close contact required to perform my services along with a shortage of supplies and PPE. Also as many of you know I also hold a Tattoo Permit for Microblading and Tattoo has not been included in this round of reopening. So at this point I'm aiming to reopen on Weds June 17th. I'll be cancelling the appointments that have been scheduled for before then. Thanks so much for understanding and all the kind wishes and messages of support.

An Update from our Mens Stylist Holly D:

May 15th!

The moment we have all been waiting for has finally come! DeWine announced to us yesterday that salons have the green light to reopen.

I would really like to thank you so much for your support through all of this! I truly am so blessed to have such wonderful clients, that are more like friends and family to me! As excited as I am to have my job and income back, I am even more excited to get to catch up with you all. See how you and your families are doing, talk about gardening, camping, see what weird things you have been doing to have fun and stay entertained through the quarantine!

Now to Get us back in the Shop!
Just because we have the go ahead to open, does not mean that everyone will feel comfortable returning to work, or that everyone will feel comfortable having close hands on interactions. Fortunately for us, my shop is very private and quiet. My primary concern is to provide you with a safe and clean environment in order to help protect all of our families. New guidelines for the shop have been set by the CDC, Health Department and Ohio State Board of Cosmetology. Please be patient while we navigate through these rules together. This is a new world with new rules for all of us.

A few simple changes

- Waiting areas will not be in use
-Please wait outside or in your car until waived to come up
-Services will be booked with an additional 15 minutes to a lot time for detailed sanitation procedures
-Hand sanitizer will be provided in main areas
-All stylists are required to wear a mask
-Clients are being asked to please wear a mask
- If you have a fever or have been in contact with someone with a fever, you MUST reschedule NO EXCEPTIONS
-Your name, address, and time will be logged in a Contact Tracing Log per CDC
-While in the store, please respect all social distancing guidelines for other clients and staff

MOST IMPORTANTLY
The suckers will be behind the counter! And if you are good boys and girls, I will take flavor requests and hand them to you individually!

These new rules are very simple and will be easy for us all to follow and please remember that they have been set in place to protect all of us. I would like to be as respectful to how different each of us and our families are feeling about this situation. We are so excited to hear that we have the go ahead to open our doors to you all May 15th! With that being said, despite the approval by Governor Dewine, it is a very hard personal decision to come back to work hands on with the public. Salon doors are opening, but please check your stylists personal booking and scheduling to see when they will be returning for appointments!

Throughout the salon changes will be made to ensure both client and stylists safety.

As most of you have already heard, all salons and barbershops in Ohio have been temporarily closed to help reduce the spread of the virus. We here at grow are heartbroken to shut our doors to our clients. Please know that we will be here for you when we all make it through this. And while our doors are shut, our hearts are open. Please reach out with any questions, concerns or friendly thoughts. We truly are all in these unexpected times together and really will need all the love and support from our communities that we can.
