My last brading experience was awful for many reasons. I had given up even thinking getting my hair braided ever again. But then I started researching braiders in the area and came across the page for , even vouched for them.
I was contemplating the drive to Romeoville when I saw they would be taking appointments at Chicago’s Ghana Fest. Not only was booking easy, my appointment came with entrance to the Ghana Fest, a usb fan, unlimited cold water and lunch. All for the same price I paid for a bad experience. I have the style I want, I will be able to sleep tonight and I’m not worried about my edges.

❤️Join us for the 1st Annual Teen Braid Camp hosted by The Braiding Bar on October 28th - 29th from 9am - 5pm in Aurora, IL.
🦋Teens, ages 11-17 are encouraged to join us for this amazing opportunity.
🦋During this two day event, teens will get the chance to learn how to do Boxbraids and Boho Knotless Braids!
🦋All participants will receive their own personal mannequin head and stand, salon uniform, Braider kit, a fulfilling lunch, tasty snacks, and a certificate of completion.

Ghana fest. I've been going to Ghana fest since the 90's,so for me to be a sponsor for my community is something I never imagined! I got so much love yesterday! So much love that I never expected!! The Braiding Bar Inc is NOT your stereotypical "African Braiding Shop" it's more than a braiding shop, it's a movement! My vision for Braiding Shops is more than a group of woman just braiding all day, it's an art, it's our culture! This is just the beginning I'm breaking all the rules! We are different!
