Check out the difference between her before and after photos! The smaller, lower photo on the left is the healed results from her initial session. The larger “after” photo is immediately after her touch up. 🥰
I absolutely love watching my client’s reactions when they realize they no longer have the daily stress of drawing on their brows. 😍👏🏼

Soooo many people I meet for consultations come in worried about how dark I'll make their brows. They are scared they will look like Groucho Marx or an Angry Bird! 🤣
When you see eyebrows that look like that, it's because of the style of microblading. The greater the surface coverage, the darker/more dramatic they will be.
All microblading artists have similar (if not the same) colors of pigment... Like I said, the big difference is in the STYLE that is being done. When an artist does shading (like you see in ombre or combination brows), there is more surface coverage. This increases the likelihood of your brows being too dark for your face.
My style only involves hair strokes, meaning less surface coverage and a softer appearance. Since I don't do shading, I couldn't give you Angry Bird eyebrows if I tried. 😉🤣
If this has been a reason you have held off on getting your eyebrows done, please reach out to me! I know I can ease your mind. 🥰

Check out this client's amazing progression! The photo on the left is the client's before photo, the middle is her healed results, and the photo on the right is immediately after her first touch up. (This is over a 6 week period of time.)
As you can tell, the healing and softening of the lines in the middle photo is pretty amazing, and you are left with beautiful, warm results. This softening will also happen as she heals from the touch up photo on the right.
Microblading should be considered at least a 2 part process. You come in for the initial appointment, heal, then come in 4-6 weeks later for your first touch up. The touch up is needed this soon after because of how much fading occurs this first month. Believe me when I say this... the fading is the most frustrating part.
I tell you this because I want to give my client's reasonable expectations. I want you to love your brows and retain the quality as long as possible... however, it is a bit of a commitment. If you are unwilling to complete the process, you may not get the results you're after. 😬
But is the process worth it?
🙌🏽 ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY! 🥰💖

I am frequently asked what color I use to match white, grey, or light blonde hair. My answer is typically, "the lightest color I can give you, which is golden brown."
Sometimes this throws people off but once I explain why I use a golden brown, they understand. There are a few reasons why white, grey, or even light blonde pigment is not a good idea...
Reason 1: Pigment that light wouldn't show up on your skin. I don't think I need to expand on this. 🤣
Reason 2: To make the color grey, you need to dilute black... preferably with white. This is a problem because white would quickly absorb/disappear, and the black would be left behind.
Reason 3: Grey is a color I am frequently asked to cover up or fix. Grey (which is a diluted black) is NOT a good pigment color for eyebrows. It's cold and dull. To do a color correction (and warm it up), I have to add yellow and red.
Red + yellow + black = brown. 😉
If you have not had your eyebrows done because you are concerned about having light brown eyebrows, please take a look at these photos. These beautiful women have light hair and golden brown eyebrows. (I even added one with dark eyebrows to get your imagination flowing!🥰)
Don't wedge yourself into a box by assuming that the only way you can have beautiful eyebrows is if they match the color of your hair. 💖
(*None of these women are clients of mine and the photos do not belong to me.)

Just in case I haven't introduced myself to you yet, my name is Monique and I'm the owner and microblading artist of Belle Âme Brows. I specialize in the Bold Brows technique by the PhiBrows Academy.
I moved to California a few years ago from the Pacific Northwest and I absolutely LOVE Cali! While I do miss the beautiful rainy days up north (especially in this sweltering heat), I definitely do NOT miss the snow. 🤣
On a personal note, I'm a mom of 4 kiddos and have been married to my amazing husband for over a decade. I have worked in many different fields and in early 2020, my interest in the microblading field was piqued when I had my own brows done.😁🙌🏽
In April 2021, I did my research, pulled the trigger, and embarked on a new business adventure. I've learned so much along the way. The best part about this whole journey is having the privilege of meeting some truly incredible women... We've shared many laughs, shed a few tears, and have discussed some of life's great conundrums. 😆🥰
I don't believe in coincidences and know that our lives have crossed paths for a reason. 💖

Hey there, lovies! It’s been a busy summer and now that school is back in session, I’m excited to be able to open up my weekday morning appointments, again! 😁👏🏼
So I’ve been making some important changes over the past couple weeks and want to share those changes with you.
1. The first change I’ve made is in the pigment I’m using. The company I purchase my pigment with has released a higher quality version that is more pure and stable. That means you are less likely to have an immune system response AND receive greater color retention.
2. The second change is in the blade I use. I’ve transitioned to a thinner, more precise blade that allows for greater detail and accuracy on my part. It also helps with the healing time and creates a softer appearance.
3. The third change is in the price of my services. I've increased the cost of my initial appointments and made smaller increases to the touch up prices... I've done this not only to better reflect the market value, but also so I may continue offering the high quality and customized procedures I’m known for. The new price list is in the attached photo.
👉🏼 The price changes will occur on August 20th and if you book a procedure with me prior to that, I’ll honor the current prices. This includes your touch ups! You can book up to 3 months in advance so if you know you want to have your brows done in the near future, I’d recommend getting yourself booked ASAP.
I'll give you an example to help clarify. 😊
✨ If you book within the next 10 days to have your initial procedure take place on October 15th, you will still get the procedure for the price it is today. (This saves you $150!) You can also pre-book your 4-6 week touch up and save an additional $25!
To get yourself scheduled, please visit my booking page at: https://belleamebrowsllc.glossgenius.com
If you have any questions, feel free to send me a DM! Thanks and I hope to see each of you soon! 💖
