We spend a lot of time mapping the brows! We could use strings, calipers, brow pencils, rulers etc... but at the end, there isn't really a science to this. Most of the time, we are meeting somewhere in the middle between what you're comfortable with and what I would recommend as your brow specialist ❤️

This is our 2nd touch up appointment and we worked hard on enforcing the pigment at the front of the brows.
Everyone heals differently, but if you an oily t-zone, it could impact your results and I'll probably be seeing you a few times :-)

CASE STUDY:
Skin: firm skin for her age.
Brow hair level: little to no hair.
Previous brow tattoo: yes.
Work performed: we spent quite a while perfecting her shape. Her previous shape was a rounded arch with the same thickness from beginning to the brow tail. We gave her a more defined arch and adjusted the thickness to bring harmony to the rest of her facial features. We matched the pigment to her natural brow hair color.
Finally, in order to create a soft and well blended brow, we really saturated the tail and the bottom of the brows and then diffused it out at the top of the brow and the front of the brow.
The key here is soft and super natural results + longevity. We want your brows to last 2-3 years before any touch up or color boost and even longer before considering laser removal (I never want you to have to laser remove them). Healed permanent eyebrows should never look like a sharpie marker was used to draw them.
6 week touch up appt: we talked about the healing and aftercare process. She followed the instructions diligently. The client loved the results, however actually requested more ink. This is where I educated her on why 'less is more'. At touch up, we added minimal pigment to certain spots only.

With my method, you will likely need a touch up appointment. The touch up is meant for us to assist more pigment or touch up in areas where the ink may have lifted too much.
I have had requests where the client asks if I can just put enough pigment so they don't need to come back for a touch up. Your skin can only take so much pigment during the first session. Additionally, the longer we take and more pigment we deposit, the more irritated the skin becomes. It is best to have the skin rest, see how much pigment is retained and add only where it is needed.
