lets take a sec to talk.

your FIRST rinse: the bronzer removal rinse

This is the rinse that is primarily about removing the bronzer.

-with the express tan; do not use soap
-with the signature tan; dont overdue the soap

Any showers that happen post-bronzer removal rinse can be your normal everyday shower.

Except, there are a few things to keep in mind: keep the water warm, NO hot showers (i know we all love them this time of year, but youll thank me later) also keep the showers quick - dont soak for long!

If you are a loofah user, washcloth abuser, dove/barsoap lover —- please ditch them for the time being.

Loofahs, wash-cloths, and exfoliating products (the beaded body-washes/face-washes) will remove your tan. Maybe not entirely at once, but it will shred it up.

Dove soaps/bar soaps will dry out your skin and change the coloring of your tan.

switch to an Aveeno, Hempz, Method Body, Cetaphil body wash OR try out our Globar soaps that are made specifically for airbrush tans (you wont regret it)

And ALWAY ALWAYS moisturize after your showers - especially while your skin is still damp. It will lock in all the moisture! 🧴

Oh, Need to shave your legs?? 🪒

First off, shave at least 24hrs PRIOR to your appointment. (Another Important Reminder: Shower, shave +++ exfoliate 24hr before!)

If you need to shave again, wait at least 24hrs post-tan development and use a NEW razor. Be gentle too!

Spray tans can get confusing sometimes, You initially look dark then you look pale then you look perfect.. here’s what happens.⁠⠀

Spray tans take up to 24 hours to fully develop so even if you rinse in 2 hours or 8 hours, both will develop fully in 24 hours. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
With that being said, that 24 hour mark you might find yourself looking “too dark” but most of the time people think this because you’re not used to seeing yourself immediately tan. ⁠⠀

Sun bathing takes time to build a base and then you start seeing color.. so you see a gradual change vs an instant change, like with spray tans⁠⠀

By day 2 you’ve showered at this point 2/3 times so your tan has faded to the perfect tone.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Which is why I always recommend getting a spray tan 2 days before any event so you’ve allowed the tan to go through its stages and you’re looking flawless in your photos 💁🏼‍♀️
