Sometimes things need to be shaken up.
This year, expect the unexpected and hope for the impossible.

Going into 2025 my focus was to SOFTEN, this year my word is STEWARD.
I want to be a better STEWARD of my time, finances, and energy.
Owning a business has made me harden in the past and this year I have softened as a stylist and owner. I choose to see all the good in my business and focus on gratitude even in the challenging moments. This doesn’t mean I don’t make mistakes but my focus has been more intentional.
Relationships and parenting can also harden oneself. It’s easy to be sharp and assume the worst but this year I’ve tried to soften in this area also. I’ve been more patient and kind and thankful for all the people I have. It has been hard and there has been heartbreak, pain, disappointment, and loss but through it all I’ve stood firm in who I am and WHOS I am.
Next year I’ll be more intentional by putting my energy and time into relationships that give back.
And lastly, finances. Man can I spend! I’m blessed to have a profitable business with amazing clients and stylists that support it, but your girl likes to shop. This year my intention is to only buy that which I need (as much as I can). I already know I’ll have trouble with this and I’m sure I’ll often fail, however, I’d like to just have more of a grasp of where im at daily. If I’m going to grow, and build, and set personal + business goals finances are the driver so I need to be gassed up.
2026…im coming for ya.

Another holiday season in the books. Another year doing what I love.
Blessed by busy days, a killer team, an amazing assistant, and the BEST clients that one could ever hope for.
Each year is full of ups and downs. Things we never expected. Things we could only have dreamt of. Things we had been praying for night after night. Things that came too quickly or left too soon.
Some endings. Some beginnings. Some do-overs.
Building. Breaking. Building. Breaking. Lather, rinse, repeat.
I hope you look back over this past year and, like me, can say that you’ve grown. Maybe not in every way. And maybe not everyday. But a little growth goes a long way.
I hope that you’ve started looking ahead rather than behind and that you have hope for a future with goals so lofty and dreams so big thy scare you.
Going into the new year I still choose words over resolutions and this past year I worked on (and for the most part achieved) some softness, more patience, extra kindness, and needed consistency. In my company, as an individual stylist, as a mom, co-parent, and best friend.
I haven’t yet set my word for 2026 but I’ll be praying over the next few days for it to jump out at me. In the meantime though, if you had to choose a word over a resolution what would it be? Give me some ideas would ya? ❤️

Not sure what to get your best friend? Teacher? Daughter? Yourself? Here are 3 of my must haves that I use DAILY behind the chair.
1.EXTENSIONS // Sure they are an investment but it’s the gift that keeps on giving. What better thing to invest in than confidence. You can also go longer between washes and maintain your style with less work.
2. IBIZA BRUSH // This. Brush. Slays. I use this on EVERY CLIENT and most of my clients go home with one. Even if you think you can’t do your own blow out at home, this brush will change your mind.
3. BIOIONIC IRON // 1.25” is the sweet spot. Not too tight and not too loose, she’s the Goldilocks of curling irons and she’ll make your style effortless.
Wondering where to pick these up? Swing by Moss, we’ve got you!
