New Year's resolutions are nice... but so is the gentle quiet of mid winter.

If we follow the rhythm of nature, then our true new year glow up would align with spring.

La Luna doesn't rush or force. She is just there, in all her phases, sometimes shining gloriously bright and other times hidden from view.

So whatever phase you find yourself in, give yourself permission and honor it

We can make those "new year, new me" glow ups when it feels right.

We can rest a little longer if we need to.

Tonight is a rare Black Moon and exactly one moon cycle until The Lunar New Year. It's also a perfect time to take an honest and loving inventory of this year.

Sometimes this type of inventory can bring up a lot of emotions, as we tend to focus more on "negative behaviors" but I want to tell you, sometimes those behaviors were a form of self care, sometimes they are there to protect us, and even though we might night like them they may be serving us a purpose in that moment.

So tonight and in the next few days of this year,
As you reflect on this last year, ask yourself with compassion: "How are these things serving me? Are they working for my highest good?"

Then, allow yourself grace. Small, intentional changes can have a greater impact than massive overhauls.

I decided I am not finishing this year out strong! I choose soft. I choose quiet. I’m leaning into the things that bring me joy.

I have been very quiet here on IG and IRL. September and October were challenging months, both physically and mentally. I spent the time focused on healing, recovery, quality momwnts with loved ones, and reflection through journaling

There is so much turmoil right now in our current social-political climate, and it's been heartbreaking again to witness all the pain people are experiencing, feeling helpless to change the situation and wondering if we will someday heal and unify. My mantra these last few weeks are "Let it begin with me." These words remind me of the essence of Alchemy and that I have the ability to co create a world of kindness and compassion l

Alchemy is the practice of turning the mundane into the extraordinary. Traditionally, alchemists sought to transmute crude metals into gold. The spiritual alchemist applies this metaphor to their own inner journey, transforming limiting beliefs, past wounds, and negative energies into personal wisdom, resilience, and growth. Everyday experiences ane transformed into spiritual gold and a rich integrated life. The alchemist finds magic in the subtle shifts and progressions within themselves and the world.

Fall is a time of release, reflection, and preparation.
