Now in my 40s, I'm discovering that true beauty starts with taking care of ourselves from the inside out. This why every service at Obsidian is designed with your hair's health in mind.

We use more health friendly products and everyone is encouraged to take care of themselves for real!! That means taking sick time, mental health time, max 8 hour work day, and making sure we all eat. I know, sounds crazy right? But trust me --- this wasn't always the case in our industry.

Have you ever wanted to go red but weren’t sure what to try?

We’ve got a few red tips for ya!

1) How often do you want to come to the salon?
—> If you don’t want to come that frequently, we suggest more natural or muted red tones like gold coppers or red browns.

2) Do you like dimension (meaning multiple colors — light & dark)?
—> Then we recommend doing a highlight or balayage. That way you can have that dimension you want & you can adjust the shade of red if you like at your toning appointments.

3) Can’t figure out if you want red, copper, or a deep red violet?
—> Book a color consultation and we will suggest different tones based on your eye & skin tone to best complement or highlight your features.

It started when I bought my first crystal which was amethyst. Purple is one of my favorite colors so naturally I was drawn to it. Shortly after I went down a rabbit hole on the metaphysical benefits of crystals and it’s been my obsession since.

Blonding, apple crumble donuts, and being part of someone's self-discovery journey are just SOME of the amazing things about Sharon!!
