Our work together is done in a private boutique studio. It’s kind of like walking into a warm hug.

Rosacea is such a complex condition. Over moisturize, you get problems. Dry it out, you get problems. Exfoliate, problems. Don’t exfoliate, problems. Summer heat, problems. Winter cold, problems. What works for one patient might not for another. It’s exhausting to manage it alone.

No lasers or prescriptions were used in this case of type II Rosacea. Over the years I have figured out a delicate balance that works for my patients. Rosacea can’t be cured. However, with the right protocol at home, & the right treatment in the studio (at the right timing intervals) we can make your skin more resilient, calmer, and less prone to breaking out or flushing.

My patients will tell you that they know their triggers, they protect their skin from heat and sun, they drastically reduce alcohol and they work on calming their nervous system down (walking instead of running, weights over cardio, yoga, humming, journaling, relaxing). These things consistently help the baseline 100%.

So many of my clients bring me their teenagers. Their schedules are insane especially if they are athletes or in cheer or dance. All the practices, tournaments, makeup, glitter, hairspray, sweat, helmets, chin straps and stress can really destroy their skin and cause acne that’s a pain to treat.

The first appointment, I have a chat with them and try to get an understanding of what they are going through and then we make a plan. They get a regimen to do at home, and I see them monthly for treatment.

Watching their skin clear and start becoming healthier and more resilient is truly the most rewarding thing on the planet. And watching these tall massive football players and exhausted dancers fall asleep during treatment makes my heart swell. They deserve the rest and self care. I love teaching them that.
