Unfortunately due to unhealthy eating habits she has gained back some adiposity to the abdominal area.

She plans to go for round #2 , liposuction around her abdominal area this summer 2023

My goals are :

✅to get her back to her optimal weight goal

✅Provide preoperative medical clearance if needs be ( she may not need it )

✅keep her on a weight management plan irregardless of what she decides to do ( round 2 or not )

At first, diabetic retinopathy might cause no symptoms or only mild vision problems. But it can lead to blindness.

Anyone who has diabetes can develop diabetic retinopathy. The risk of developing the eye condition can increase as a result of:

Poor control of your blood sugar level
High blood pressure

What is a Nurse Practitioner and what do they do?

Can you believe that some people are clueless about the role of a nurse practitioner ?

Can a NP prescribe medications ? Yes , including controlled . ( if they have a DEA #)

Is she being trained by the Physician ? ( while in our NP program or taking on a new job we were trained by MD’s and NP’s)

Why didn’t I just become a Physician Assistant ( PA) ?
( our roles are similar but governed by different bodies) NP’s are under the State Board of Nursing. (Different didactic and background )
