You wished for it, You wanted it and you made it to Salutatorian. We are so proud of all the hard work, Sydnei Borges that you have done. From IB to Varasity VolleyBall and Beach Volleyball. Add in Club Volleyball, Girlscouts and working at Publix throughout your High School Career. I don’t know how you were able to manage it all. You were meant to do great things. We Love you so much and are wishing you everything that you can hold. Congratulations to you and all your friends.

I get it. All those perfectly curated Instagram feeds can make it feel like everyone else is already on their way to becoming a new and improved version of themselves.

But what if “new year, new me” isn’t about radical transformation? What if it’s about small steps, self-compassion, and enjoying the ride?
