Please be cautious of where you get your nails done. There are many places that do not care about the health of your nails and will use an illegal product on you called MMA.

MMA is short for methylmethacrylate monomer. It is safely used as bone cement and in dentistry. It is not safe for nails because it requires the nail to be over-filed to adhere well. Because of how it is your nails underneath can break while the product will not. You could completely rip off your nail if you hit your finger.

This product is also hard to remove yourself without trying to pry them off. If you try using acetone on your nails and they do not come off, please be sure to go to a nail tech with experience to get the MMA filed off.
