This is a favorite throwback. The lady in the photo had heard her Black coworkers speak of how long they could wear protective styles and the time it saved. So she convinced her husband to pay for her two-strand Twists. The one thing I wish is to have been a fly on the wall when her family in Turkey saw her on a video call for the first time. I’m sure the reaction was priceless!
