Winter is nearly here. Want to keep your hair looking and feeling healthy all winter long?

Use these tips today:
1. Wear a hat. This does more than just protect your head from the cold, but it also shields your hair from damage.

2. Buy a humidifier. This is a smart purchase all around and even comes in handy for helping to keep the moisture locked into your tresses.

3. Drop the water temp. While taking a shower, you may be tempted to turn that water up during these colder months, but it's damaging to your hair (and skin for that matter).

4. Deep condition once a week. Take a little hair self care each week and deep condition your hair. This could be a perfect Sunday afternoon treat.

5. Don't leave the house with wet hair. Wet hair in winter weather can deplete hair from moisture, so it's best to dry before leaving.
