Spooky season is coming up and I’m putting my own twist to it by adding a little bit of feminine energy to it. Like, just look at the sparkles, the jewels, the dress, and the dark forest.

Oof, I’ve fallen in love with my work all over again! I can’t wait to share more from this session with you all as well as the behind the scenes.

I proposed 3 different designs to my client before we settled on combining 2 of the designs to create the set. I named the set, Fae Opulence.

Honoring the fairy and bridal look that Lynda wanted to have in her portraits, I combined it with my own ideas of an abandoned luxury mansion.

Opulence means “great wealth or luxuriousness.” So, we added gold decals and mounted a gold mirror to an abandoned fireplace room that was overgrown with greenery. The room was filled with the fresh smell of dirt and there was the old natural wood floor details that added to the final look.

I can’t stress this enough but a Curative Portrait cannot be done without the endless ideas of both the client and The Eclectic.

Introducing our final speaker, PaNhia (Penni) Moua! We are beyond thrilled to have her as a speaker for our event! Many of you may already know her as a local beauty artist/talent!

PaNhia Moua is a dynamic and resilient individual with a passion for entrepreneurship and creativity. At 32 years old, she is a devoted single mother of two, balancing the roles of caregiver, business owner, and educator with grace and determination.

As a successful hairdresser and hair educator, PaNhia combines her artistic flair with technical expertise, transforming her clients' looks and sharing her knowledge with aspiring stylists. Her skills as a makeup artist further enhance her ability to bring out the beauty in others.

Beyond her professional pursuits, PaNhia is deeply connected to music and art, finding inspiration and solace in creative expression. Her unwavering faith in Christ anchors her through life's challenges, and she draws strength from overcoming personal trauma and generational curses, emerging stronger and more resilient.

Driven by a thirst for self-growth and development, PaNhia values loyalty, family, friendship, and integrity above all else. Her journey is a testament to the power of perseverance, faith, and a steadfast commitment to personal and spiritual growth.

Introducing our 3rd speaker ❤️ Hawa Tea Williams. We are so excited to have her at our event and hear her story and wisdom.

Tea Williams is an ordained minister, mother of four, entrepreneur, and school nurse for the Hopkins School District in the Twin Cities. With a background in education and ministry, she works with women and couples to start, groom, and deepen their spiritual walk. Tea aims to encourage, empower, and remind individuals of their identity, worth, and capabilities through self-discovery. Her goal is to bring freedom and awareness of a better quality of life when partnered with the power of the Holy Spirit.

As a passionate traveler and dedicated realtor, I thrive on connecting with others and meeting new people. My name is Chasity Xiong, I am a 23-year-old navigating life's journey. Balancing the responsibilities of caring for my loved ones, pursuing my career, and prioritizing my passions, such as traveling, are the pillars of who I am.

Introducing a new change to the Creative Services Department!

We are now offering a sliding scale payment to our clients for ALL creative services. This means that all Curative Portraits and event services will be on a sliding scale.

Times are tough and we understand the need to be able to provide for you and your loved ones. However, that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be able to spend a little something on yourself. So, we are offering a sliding scale payment for all Creative Services to make spending on you less stressful.

All sliding scale fees/payments are based on the service, the complexity of the service, and your personal budget.

We believe in making our services accessible for our BIPOC community, and that is why we feel that offering a sliding scale payment is necessary. We want our clients to be able to experience luxury and the joys of rediscovering and loving themselves through the services and products that we offer. We will never ask for proof, confirmation, or an explanation when it comes to paying for our services. We trust that you will use your best judgment to make the best decision in spending on yourself.

Remember that this only applies to the CREATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT!

What: We are looking for womxn who are open to sharing their life story revolving around self love and self worth in relationships. Completely voluntary.
When: June 2024 for 2 hours (actual date TBA)

- Must be 18+ and a BIWOC
- Must be open to sharing AND listening to other womxn with an open heart and mind

We are looking to create a safe space for womxn to be heard and heal together. To learn from one another in our life experiences. We hope to have you join us!
