The “Truth Bomb”
We graduated with honors in Calculus but flunked Relationship 101. 📉
Why is it that we spend 12 years learning about the rise and fall of empires, but not five minutes on how to handle a breakup or set a healthy boundary? 🚩
By leaving relationship education out of schools, we’re forcing our youth to learn through “trial and trauma.” It’s time to stop waiting for a curriculum change and start building a community safety net.
The Solution: ✅ Parents: Normalize talking about the “messy” parts of your own relationship history.
✅ Mentors: Host “Life Skills” nights at local centers.
✅ Everyone: Treat emotional intelligence as a requirement, not an elective.
It’s time to give them the map before they start the journey. 🗺️❤️
