Chair Rental Agreement

Hair Stylist Duties
Stylists on our Chair Rental Plan must embrace the Operating and “Beauty and Wellness” standards of Elle Salon Spa, so as to project a unified and relaxed Salon experience to our guests.
Listen and consult with advice to guests to meet their style and wellness needs Provide light scalp massage experiences prior to hair services Provide shampoos, stylish cuts, and related services Strong skills with scissors, clippers, razors, trimmers as needed Other techniques - blowdryers, curling irons, related heat tools Other services - color, waves, perms, etc are all possible Provide excellent customer service Maintain a positive and relaxed professional relationship with clients Maintain basic client records Engage in salon products trainings Provide products selection advice and sales Be open to feedback and coaching from Style Director and Management Team

Operational Duties
Accept appointments and payments to salon via Schedulicity (Elle Salon Spa) Confirm and/or change YOUR appointments as needed Maintain supplies, practice required tool sanitization / basic cleanliness of chair / salon Guide clients through service offerings, help them choose services for their benefit Suggest scheduled recurring sessions Provide basic content to Marketing Team - to be used for web and/or social media posts

Requirements
Education Program Completion - if new, an education transcript is required Cosmetology License - must provide number and copy of MN License, before acceptance to position Application, Drug Test and Background Check Schedulicity experience a plus Aveda / Juut product knowledge, style theory, and wellness practice is a plus Demonstrated color and other skills a plus (provide example photos)

The right candidate will have the ambitious energy to create a thriving destination spa and salon, with unlimited income potential. The position is reserved for an experienced Massage Therapist who is looking for a place that honors their unique skills set on both the massage and operational levels of business.

We have carefully designed this opportunity for the dynamic, self-motivated person who is excited to mold a new business model for virtually unlimited income potential. Our Spa and Salon is waiting for your vision and energy.

With Elle Salon Spa support, you will be able to build a broad clientele, starting with a generous income system: You’ll start with a very generous commission on your own massage services, plus a tiered commission on staff services, plus tips, and product commissions.

Further, Elle will support your involvement in the spa salon with selection and purchase of new equipment to support your methods, as well as online scheduling, a website page, and social media campaigns.

As you combine your Managing Partner and part-time Massage Therapist duties, we project that you will be able to earn an annualized gross income of between $70,000 - $100,000 (based on industry-standard rates). Your income will grow beyond those figures, depending on staffing numbers and staff commissions.

With your part-time salon commitment of 20-25 hours per week, we project that you will be able to earn an annualized gross income of between $30,000 - $48,000 (based on industry-standard rates).
