So Thankful for All the Happy Birthday Wishes this week!

This week has been amazing, actually....Spring Cleaned my house, Dan and I painted our bedroom plus new bedding & new window treatments (I got to choose all of this, which is rare around here - Dan is usually the designer!)

All the laundry in the house is DONE (once in a lifetime statement right there).

I've watched some Love Is Blind and listened to these beautiful young people talk share their hopes and dreams for a life with a partner that is truly "their person" and feel so damn lucky to have that In My Life with Dan Kelly. ...As the season progressed, we see the challenges and heartbreak of getting to know someone through the lens of potential commitment and I feel so damn lucky I am not going through at this point (been there many times).

I've received countless messages here on FB, texts & calls, also several visits, lunches, coffee dates with friends, including former and current colleagues and students who all expressed so much appreciation, respect and love for me.

At 48, being here In My Life, all of this means more than I can say.

Ah, the slippery slope of Fall into Winter ❄️ happens so fast!

Have you ever practiced Mirror Work? This is an affirmation method introduced by author & educator Louise Hay in her book Mirror Work: 21 Days to Loving Yourself. You simply look into the Mirror and tell your reflection "I love and accept myself, unconditionally, right now" and with practice, this self-acceptance and self-love seeps more deeply into your psyche and grows stronger, shifting your mindset to one that is self-supportive, self-forgiving, self-loving.
