We specialize in relieving chronic/recurring pain through advanced Neuromuscular (trigger point)
Good morning, Happy New Year. I am looking forward to 2021 being a bit easier than 2020 was. We have moved to Great new space. Our new address is 243 Corey Ave. St. Pete Beach, FL. 33706. 727-363-8333 We have so many good things coming this year. We are going to offer CE classes (we have a 16 hour course on headaches right now) and more to come. We are working on them now. We have a new therapist joining us, Doug Scott. He has been training with a chiropractor and has a lot of knowledge of the muscles, of the structure, and what causes constant and chronic pain.
I hope all of you are staying well. I miss seeing everybody. Come in and see us soon, or call and say hi, stop in and say hi, or send us an email @ [email protected].

Here is a link to Daystar. They do amazing work in the community and they always appreciate any help anyone can give. They take donations of many kinds. Remember it is getting cold so donations of warm clothing, blankets etc. would be especially appreciated. I will have a box at Seaside Massage Therapy Center in Dolphin Village if that is a more convenient drop off location. Thank you all in advance.

Here is an interesting article for all of you Plantar Fasciitis sufferers.
http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2014/09/15/heel-pain-treatment/?_php=true&_type=blogs&_r=0
Ask Well: Plantar Fasciitis Relief If you have stairs or a sturdy box in your home, along with a backpack, timely relief for plantar fasciitis may be possible.
As a massage therapist, I hear this too often.....
"The chronic pain in my back is frustrating and exhausting, so I lay down multiple times a day for relief. Because my back pain causes me to lay down, I am now less active than ever before. I have put on a few pounds and my blood pressure is higher than normal. I went to the doctor and they put me on blood pressure medication, and when addressing my back pain, they just told me to 'rest'. Since they told me to rest I have been resting; no exercise or stretching."......and the cycle continues......
Food for thought:
Have we culturally classified chronic pain as 'just another part of getting older'?
How can we correct chronic pain? Lets start by figuring out what caused the pain rather than how we can make it go away so we can move on with our busy lives.
NOW BREATHE and remember that the mind/body connection is real. :)
