After a long Fourth of July weekend, the Empower team is back in the salon starting at noon today, and we hope your holiday was full of sunshine, great food, and even better memories.

Now it’s time to trade in beach hair for great hair. 😉

We’re also gearing up to cheer on Team USA 🇺🇸 as they take on Belgium tonight, and we’d love to spend part of your game day getting you feeling your absolute best.

Every quarter at Empower, we hit pause on the day-to-day to invest in what matters most: our people. Culture Days are our chance to connect, learn, laugh, dream bigger, and continue building the kind of team our guests deserve. We mix team meetings, education, content creation, and a little fun because growing together outside the salon makes us stronger inside the salon.

This quarter, we were lucky enough to spend part of our day with the lovely Hannah Lawson pottery & things 🧚‍♀️ creating hand-painted pottery trinket dishes. It was the perfect reminder that creativity doesn’t stop with hair.

Meet the woman behind the magic, our Salon Concierge, Maja. 🤍

There’s a good chance you’ve already talked to her without even realizing it.

She’s the fingers behind the texts, the friendly voice answering your calls, and the one helping you find the perfect appointment time. But what you don’t always see is everything happening behind the scenes.

Maja is the glue that keeps Empower running. She’s resetting every station so it feels like you’re the first guest of the day, keeping our space sparkling clean and sanitized, pouring your beverages, handing out the snacks, and making sure every detail of your visit feels effortless.

The little things that make Empower feel like Empower? Maja has her hands in almost all of them.

She’s kind, thoughtful, hardworking, and an absolute joy to have on our team. We truly couldn’t do what we do without her, and we’re so grateful she’s the heart behind so much of your experience.
