Volunteering at the St. Pete Free Clinic St. Petersburg Free Clinic over the last 6 years has been a wonderful experience- especially with my nurse Ruth. Every Tuesday she brings such joy and enthusiasm to the clinic and she has been a great friend and personal mentor over the 6 years we have worked together. She has such a wonderful heart for the St. Pete community and our patients and I feel lucky to have had the privilege of serving them alongside her. Today was our last day together as she heads into her (well-earned, and second!) retirement.

Ruth, thank you for the inspiration you’ve been to me and everyone lucky enough to know you. St. Pete won’t be the same without you on Tuesdays. 💛

Yesterday was bittersweet 💕

We said “see you later” to our incredible medical assistant, Jackie. While there were definitely some tears, we couldn’t be more proud as she heads off to pursue nursing school and her dream of becoming an RN.

Jackie has made such an impact on both our team and our patients, and she will be so missed during this next chapter. We can’t wait for the day we welcome her back to St. Petersburg Skin & Laser as a nurse!
