Let me add to say- ingrowns happen whether you shave or wax. You’re more likely to get ingrowns with waxing, you just have to find the right aftercare for you. This client had a baby and her hormones and body still hasn’t fully recovered. Your skin can change over time as well. If you get ingrowns from waxing, don’t get discouraged. Just talk with your waxer and if you’re using a scrub or loofah or washcloth.. stop.

I have a few reschedules for this week which means I have a few last minute appointments.

These are open to new or current clients but all of these are 15 mins so please show up on time if you’re a new client. Wednesdays appts are wax Wednesday prices and Saturdays appt is $60. No package holder appointments for these openings. If you’re a package holder needing an appt, book one on my site or send me a text.

I’ll go in order of who texts me and I’ll update here when/if they get filled. If they aren’t filled by the night before I will open them for package holders to book.

Free appointments, just don’t take one and not show up. These are training appointments so I will not be the one waxing for these time spots. It’s hands on training and I’m gloved up and helping but it’s primarily the person being trained that is waxing for these ones.

Waxers: This is your reminder to check your strips. If you aren’t getting the root, hairs are being broken. It’s not always the clients fault either. (I have a whole post about breaking hairs if you scroll down my page)

I’ve noticed something. The biggest thing I have to correct in the trainings I do, is that new waxers are scared to apply the wax with pressure. You have to use enough pressure when applying with hard wax. You will not hurt your client. Hard wax is a technique in my opinion. The angle of your stick and the pressure you apply during application matters tremendously. If you lay a strip, pull it, and still have a lot of hair left under or patches of hair where you didn’t apply enough pressure, that might not be crappy wax… it might be you.

If you aren’t getting the majority of the hairs by the root in one strip, you might be the problem. It’s an easy fix though! Practice, practice, practice! 💓

✨The clients that book 2-3 appointments out, never have a hard time getting an appointment.✨

It’s always better to have an appointment booked than to try to get booked at the last minute.

Please plan ahead for summer trips or special events. I always suggest during the busy months (well always actually) to be booked at least 2 months ahead. Things can change and that’s ok, but if you know for sure you’re going to come in and are going to need a wax, prebook. If you need certain availability, you definitely need to be prebooking your next appointment to make sure you get in when you need. Last minute bookings for clients forgetting or thinking they had one booked can always be accommodated as availability allows but during the summer months it’s a lot less likely that I can fit you in during the same week.

If you forgot to book, book my soonest on my site and then text me and let me know and if I have something sooner you can grab it but if not, you have an appt coming up. Right now I’m booking 2-3 weeks out fully booked so please prebook your next appointments to make it easier on all of us.

‼️ I ask every single client if they want to prebook before they leave.‼️ Take advantage of that if you don’t have anything booked. In full transparency I’m getting to a point where if you leave and aren’t booked, you will be directed to my site when you text me. I do tell you all to text me if you can’t find what you need but it’s becoming a habit with some clients and becoming a monthly thing to try to fit certain clients into an already booked week just to keep your schedule consistent. I can’t keep doing that. Please make sure you’re booked by either checking my site or asking me. 🩷 if you see you aren’t booked please let me know but please also understand I’m at a point that I am already working my days off and can’t do much more if I have nothing open. I do have model appointments coming up and have been opening additional days. I’m pretty maxed at what I can do. It’s not my responsibility to make sure you are booked once you leave. Please double check with me before you go. 🩷
