Hi everyone!
It’s been so much fun to share my character creation with you. The Salt Witch was an idea that came to me during a film school field trip years ago. The salt flats have always been so eerie and yet so beautiful to me. I wanted to showcase this through the lens of a powerful and complex woman. So here she is in all of her unsettling beauty. After years of tweaking the concept over time, and researching witchcraft, crystal work, costume design, and makeup- I was finally able to bring together my vision.

Dusk draws near
You must leave this place
All eager curiosities have been answered
And now a sense of foreboding
As you turn to leave, a hushed dry whisper
“Wait”
A wilted hand with delicate fingers reaches out to you
Eyes interlock though you know she cannot see you-
A silent question enters your mind
Faced with the embodiment of all eternal life has to offer, as well as all it can take-
How do you choose to answer?
To know the warmth of every sunrise till it sets into its own finality?
To understand all life’s greatest queries and watch from a distance as man evolves either to its ultimate form or its utmost demise?
Or to return to your comfortable and finite mediocrity?
