has been a client damn near since the beginning of this shop. He has also been a great friend along the way. He is who he is without fear of judgment, willing to admit his faults, open to change when hit with conflicting facts, but steadfast in his stances for human rights, veteran affairs, and the belief that everyone — regardless of race, gender, religion, class, etc. — should receive the same opportunities without prejudice. He isn’t a “toe the party line” guy. We disagree on some things, I’ve confronted him on pretty much all of those disagreements, and can say with my whole chest: “this man’s heart and mind are in the exact place that we need, especially in this state.” He will stand not just for Democrats, not just Republicans, but for Libertarians when they’re right, and for leftists like myself when we are right. This guy truly gives a s**t — not about his party, but about us! Because he is one of us. Not a party guy, just an American citizen who wants the best for our state and our country as a whole. Congratulations Jonathan! Let’s repeat this vote count in the next round!
