If you’re still scratching your head on being warm, cool….You are definitely not the only one! 🩷

The easiest way to think about warm and cool tones is this:

We’re talking about the colors that naturally show through your skin.

💕 Cool undertones tend to have more pink, rosy, red, or slightly bluish tones underneath the skin.

☀️ Warm undertones tend to have more golden, peach, yellow, or honey tones underneath the skin.

🤍 Neutral undertones are a balance of both.

The reason it matters is because some makeup colors will naturally blend into your skin and look effortless, while others can look too orange, too pink, too purple, or just “off.”

Think of it this way:

If you wear a shirt that’s exactly your best color, people notice YOU.

If you wear a color that doesn’t work as well, people notice the shirt first.

Makeup works the same way. We’re simply trying to find colors that look like they belong on your face.

And honestly? If this still feels confusing, that’s completely normal! That’s why I look at selfies and help women figure it out. 😊
