When I first started behind the chair, I spent so much time worrying that I was behind.
I remember looking around at all the talent surrounding me and wondering how I would ever get to that level someday.
I was so focused on performing perfectly, staying on time, and getting everything right… that sometimes I forgot how important the experience sitting in my chair was too. 🤍
What I couldn’t see then was that confidence doesn’t appear overnight.
It grows quietly through years of conversations, mistakes, growth, connection, laughter, trust, and learning how to truly care for people well.
One of the greatest gifts this career has given me hasn’t just been creating beautiful hair…
it’s been learning how to connect with so many different people and walks of life.
